Barn Kimono

A hay barn set beside a quintessential English hedge row in Somerset was captured with Hipstamatic (Ina 69 and John S lens) and used in this version of a kimono.

An image of the Spanish Steps on S Street down from the Textile Museum was the inspiration for this abstract contemporary kimono.  Luckily, the late afternoon dappled sunlight provided a pattern for the obi and the trim on the sleeves. Base and stamp images were both taken with Hipstamatic (an old standby but my new fave) using BlacKey's Super Grain film and the John S lens for high contrast b&w.

Meridian Park

Meridian Park is a hidden gem you can access at the corner of 16th and W, NW.  Multiple elevations inspired to me continue my experiment with repurposing steps as elements in an abstract design.

Spanish Steps

Grabbed an image walking down the Spanish Steps from S Street toward Dupont Circle and popped it into my new favorite app for a special effect.
